For Government Leaders
Who this is for
You are leading a state or federal agency with critical technology needs and not enough technical capacity to meet them. You know the roles you need to fill. What you may not have is a pipeline of qualified candidates who understand public service and are ready to make the move.
What happens at Tech to Gov
Tech to Gov is a virtual hiring event that brings government agencies into direct conversation with technologists from across the private and public sectors. Agencies participate in one-on-one conversations with pre-screened candidates, receive training on best practices for recruiting and hiring technical talent, and leave with a stronger pipeline than they arrived with.
The results from past events speak directly to what agencies gain. After the October 2023 Tech to Gov event, one agency posted five announcements, received around 3,300 applications, scheduled 130+ candidate interviews, and made 62 selections across 22 teams.
For Technologists
Who this is for
You have built a career in technology and you are ready to apply those skills to something with direct public impact. Maybe you have been thinking about government service for a while. Maybe a recent moment made it feel more urgent. Either way, you are not sure where to start, and the standard job board is not the right entry point.
What happens at Tech to Gov
Tech to Gov puts you in direct conversation with the agency leaders and hiring managers who are actively recruiting for technical roles right now. The people doing the work and building the teams.
In past events, 65 percent of attendees said they had not considered government service before but would now. Over half said they would be willing to relocate for the right role. Eleven percent of the candidate pool at the October 2024 event were senior executives with 20 or more years of experience.
Government hiring has its own rules and its own pace. Tech to Gov helps you understand how to navigate it, who to talk to, and what the work actually looks like day to day.
